Pharmacist - Delano, California

A unique opportunity is available for two pharmacists to provide essential support during an EMR conversion project. This contract role involves transitioning from Cerner to EPIC software, a critical phase that demands experienced pharmacy professionals to maintain seamless pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Delano, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Evenings, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Ability to work up to 48 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Support pharmacy operations during the implementation and troubleshooting of the new EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with permanent staff engaged in the software conversion process
• Ensure accuracy and safety in medication management throughout the transition

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license
• BLS certification
• Proven experience working with both Cerner and EPIC EMR systems within the last 5 years
• Prior employment or successful completion of a contract in organizations using Cerner and EPIC
• Strong adaptability to work extended evening shifts during the conversion period

• Orientation sessions available on August 3rd or August 17th
• 8-week contract duration
