Pharmacist | Dennis Port, Massachusetts

A community hospital located on Cape Cod is seeking a skilled night shift Pharmacist to support their pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. This opportunity is ideal for a Massachusetts-licensed pharmacist with hospital experience who is ready to work a consistent night schedule in a supportive environment.

Location:

• Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston
• 200-bed community hospital setting

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Work pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off

Responsibilities:

• Perform medication order verification efficiently and accurately
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Utilize pharmacokinetics knowledge for patient-specific medication management
• Consult and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated medication dispensing system

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license is required
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is a strong plus
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills to work seamlessly with clinical teams
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
