Pharmacist - Inpatient (Travel)

Soliant is seeking an experienced Hospital Staff Pharmacist for a contract assignment at a respected healthcare facility in Central Colorado. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience and proficiency in Epic, supporting a facility transitioning from Meditech to Epic. The position offers a dynamic clinical environment with rotating shifts and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Work Hours

• Rotating Day/Evening Shifts
• Start times between 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
• Rotating weekends: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Interpret and verify medication orders and maintain patient medication profiles
• Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
• Monitor drug therapies for safety, effectiveness, and interactions
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and review culture & sensitivity data
• Provide clinical recommendations and drug information to healthcare staff and patients
• Document clinical interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with formulary management and cost-effective therapy selection
• Participate as a member of the Code Response Team

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing
• Epic experience required (Meditech experience a plus)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Flu vaccine required (October 1 – April 1, no exemptions)
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program

Compensation

• $2,600 per week
• Travel stipends available
