Soliant is seeking an experienced Hospital Staff Pharmacist for a contract assignment at a respected healthcare facility in Central Colorado. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience and proficiency in Epic, supporting a facility transitioning from Meditech to Epic. The position offers a dynamic clinical environment with rotating shifts and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care.
Work Hours
- Rotating Day/Evening Shifts
- Start times between 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
- Rotating weekends: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Interpret and verify medication orders and maintain patient medication profiles
- Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
- Monitor drug therapies for safety, effectiveness, and interactions
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and review culture & sensitivity data
- Provide clinical recommendations and drug information to healthcare staff and patients
- Document clinical interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with formulary management and cost-effective therapy selection
- Participate as a member of the Code Response Team
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing
- Epic experience required (Meditech experience a plus)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Flu vaccine required (October 1 – April 1, no exemptions)
- Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program
Compensation
- $2,600 per week
- Travel stipends available
