Per Diem Pharmacist | Derby, Kansas

Pharmacists are needed to provide per diem support within a retail pharmacy setting located in the Derby, KS area. This role offers an opportunity to join a community pharmacy team with manageable daily prescription volumes and strong support staff, ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols
• Consult with patients and healthcare providers regarding medication therapy and usage
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and team members to maintain a high level of service
• Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy software to manage prescription records and transactions
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and manage documentation according to standards

Coverage is required for the following shifts:

• Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28
• Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13 Shift hours run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Experience working in retail pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with Rx30 or similar pharmacy management software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This per diem role offers flexibility with semi-regular shifts and a supportive work environment characterized by moderate prescription volume (100-125 per day) and excellent technician assistance.
