Pharmacist | Des Plaines, Illinois

A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy requires a dual-licensed pharmacist to work on site and remotely, supporting both Illinois and Nevada operations. This role is based in Des Plaines, IL, with on-site work at a facility serving major clients such as Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark, alongside their own direct-to-patient services.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and high productivity during peak volume periods
• Work on site in Des Plaines with a Saturday shift requirement on a 6-7 week rotation
• Support remote processing of prescriptions for the Nevada operation
• Collaborate with team members committed to fostering a positive, engaged workplace culture

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada (Illinois and Nevada licensure required for on-site work; Nevada license required for remote duties)
• Experience in fulfillment/mail order pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume prescription processing
• Desire to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Schedule:

• Operating hours Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Pharmacist works Saturday shifts on a periodic rotation lasting approximately 6 to 7 weeks

This position is scheduled to start immediately. The initial contract length is 3-6 months, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role.
