This opportunity involves working as a pharmacist in a home infusion setting, supporting the preparation and verification of sterile compounds. Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Duration: 2 months (contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacy technicians with the preparation and verification of sterile compounds within a clean room environment
- Ensure compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards for sterile compounding
- Conduct clinical consultations with patients to support medication therapy
- Utilize the Care Tend computer system for documentation and workflow management (experience preferred but not mandatory)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan pharmacy license
- Experience in home infusion pharmacy or an inpatient hospital setting
- Proven sterile compounding expertise
- Familiarity with Care Tend software is advantageous but not essential
