Retail Pharmacist | Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania

A full-time pharmacist is sought for a direct hire opportunity at a retail pharmacy location in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This role involves leading pharmacy operations while ensuring exceptional clinical service and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to integrate pharmacy goals and strategies.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance per state and federal standards.
• Manage inventory to meet customer demand and maximize profitability, including ordering pharmaceutical stock and tracking sales.
• Drive pharmacy performance by aligning objectives with key department metrics related to effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide healthcare counseling and resolve patient inquiries to maintain outstanding customer service.
• Supervise and support pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of the pharmacy area.
• Interface with physicians and utilize references to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Prioritize and execute pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization license.
• Experience within retail pharmacy settings preferred.

Schedule & Location:

• Location: Dingmans Ferry, PA.
• Schedule: Variable day/afternoon shifts.
• Bi-weekly hours: Approximately 69 hours.
