Retail Pharmacist | Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania

A full-time pharmacist position is available at a well-established retail pharmacy in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers variable day and afternoon shifts with a bi-weekly commitment of 69 hours, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate company strategies effectively.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to promote profitability and prescription growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Work closely with District Pharmacy Manager and staff to control inventory, monitor weekly sales, and order stock as needed.
• Align department objectives with key performance metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries, offering healthcare counseling, and resolving complaints.
• Supervise and manage pharmacy associates, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and utilize references to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Prioritize and complete departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and processing will-calls.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Current valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
