Per Diem Pharmacist in Donna, TX

A healthcare facility in the McAllen, TX area is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a per diem position. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications and offering expert guidance to patients to ensure the safe and effective use of their medications. Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours/day)
• Fridays during the contract period follow the same hours
• Contract spans mid-July with possible opportunities for extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide detailed information and counseling to patients regarding medication use and safety
• Deliver outstanding customer service focused on patient care and satisfaction

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy License valid in Texas
