Pharmacist - Dothan, Alabama

A 300-bed hospital in Southeast Alabama is seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill a night shift role. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting patient care through critical pharmacy services.

Schedule & Hours:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently with a strong focus on patient safety and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork
