Per Diem Pharmacist in Douglasville, GA

This position offers an opportunity for a Per Diem Mail Order Pharmacist to support an independent compounding pharmacy with ongoing coverage needs in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves managing high-volume compounding operations, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and supervising a specialized mail order eye drop department.

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and supervise a team of 5 pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription filling, and customer communication
• Manage and supervise the mail order eye drop department, ensuring proper handling and shipping of three variations of post-cataract surgery eye drops
• Address questions and resolve issues that arise during daily pharmacy functions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain quality standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Mail order pharmacy experience is preferred, but not mandatory
• Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists or recent graduates known for reliability
