A hospital-based pharmacy is seeking three full-time Staff Pharmacists to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care within a Level II Trauma Center setting. This role requires clinical judgment, professional knowledge, and distribution expertise to ensure patients receive safe, effective medication therapy aligned with hospital standards and compassionate care principles.
Schedule:
- 10-hour varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- No fixed days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related issues within established policies and regulations
- Deliver pharmaceutical services supporting hospital and department missions
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Exercise sound professional judgment in prioritizing tasks and emergency situations
- Operate pharmacy systems including CII Safe and PYXIS
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience in decentralized settings
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and Windows operating systems
- Strong application of drug knowledge and clinical decision-making
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of California
- ACLS certification within one year of hire (current pharmacists have until 7/31/2027)
- PALS certification within one year of hire (current pharmacists have until 7/31/2027)

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively within interprofessional teams
