Pharmacist in Eagle Lake, MN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks, offering 24-40 hours per week. This role involves working primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Long Term Care Pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety.
• Manage complex medication regimens and provide specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication use and adherence.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Immunization Certification required.
• CPR Certification required.
• PharmD degree or MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and long term care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage patient cases.
