Pharmacist | Earlimart, California

Support the implementation of a major EMR conversion by providing expert pharmacy services during an 8-week contract. This role is critical in ensuring seamless patient care as the facility transitions from Cerner to Epic software. Experienced pharmacists will offer essential staffing coverage while permanent staff focus on software deployment and troubleshooting.

Location:

• Earlimart, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Evenings, 3:00 pm to 3:30 am (12-hour shifts)
• Must be able to work up to 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services during evening shifts
• Support patient care and medication safety throughout EMR conversion
• Collaborate with permanent pharmacists and clinical staff during software transition
• Help troubleshoot medication-related workflow issues in Cerner and Epic platforms

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Recent experience (within the last 5 years) working with both Cerner and Epic EMR systems, either as an employee or completing a successful contract
• Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts and extended hours during transition period
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in healthcare technology environments

• Orientation sessions available August 3rd or August 17th
• Contract duration: 8 weeks
