Provide essential pharmacy services as a PRN Retail Pharmacist in East Dubuque, IL, delivering safe and effective medication management during specified coverage dates. This per diem opportunity focuses on supporting patient care through accurate dispensing and personalized counseling within a retail pharmacy environment.

Location:

• East Dubuque, Illinois
• Coverage in Galena, Illinois

Schedule:

• August 20–21 and September 1
• 1st shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the manager.
• Counsel and advise patients on their medications and treatment regimens to optimize outcomes.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational policies.
• Maintain stock levels and controlled drug inventory records diligently.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus.
