Retail Pharmacist - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available at a well-established retail pharmacy location in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This direct hire role offers a chance to lead pharmacy operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and growth in a collaborative environment. The schedule includes variable day and afternoon shifts, with bi-weekly hours totaling 69.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate company strategy.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
• Manage department profitability and script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
• Oversee inventory control in partnership with District Management, tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer demands.
• Align departmental performance with key measurable metrics for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing medical inquiries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain security within the pharmacy department and resolve customer concerns to build trust.
• Coordinate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Keep the pharmacy environment organized and support continuous staff development to optimize performance and control labor costs.
• Prioritize daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
