A direct hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a closed-door long-term care pharmacy with multiple locations and strong potential for growth. The position is based in Eau Claire, WI, and offers a competitive pay range, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus. They are open to candidates holding a temporary ACT-10 license but require a Wisconsin pharmacist license within 90 days of hire.

Location: Eau Claire, WI (Western Wisconsin)

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Saturday
  • 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV1 and PV2 duties, including reviewing and verifying prescriptions
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff
  • Prepare sterile products in an on-site cleanroom, including IVs and TPNs
  • Utilize the Frameworks system to manage pharmacy operations
  • Provide medication therapy management and support patient care through accurate dispensing
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and LTC facilities

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license required; ACT-10 temporary license holders considered if WI license obtained within 90 days
  • Previous long-term care experience highly preferred
  • Retail pharmacy experience acceptable if strong medication therapy management (MTM) skills are demonstrated to quickly adapt to PV1 duties
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead pharmacy technicians
