A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to join a well-established closed-door long-term care pharmacy with multiple locations, offering excellent growth potential within the organization. This position is based in Eau Claire, WI, and features a competitive compensation package along with significant relocation and sign-on bonuses.
Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin (Western WI)
Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday
- 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
- On-call rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PV1 and PV2 duties including medication order verification and clinical interventions
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare IV admixtures and total parenteral nutrition (TPNs) in an on-site cleanroom
- Utilize strong medication therapy management (MTM) skills to support clinical decision-making
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and maintain pharmacy compliance
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required; temporary ACT-10 license accepted with Wisconsin license obtained within 90 days of hire
- Prior long-term care pharmacy experience highly preferred
- Retail pharmacists with robust MTM skills will be considered to quickly adapt to PV1 responsibilities
- Proficiency with Frameworks system is a plus
