An exciting opportunity is available for a direct hire pharmacist dedicated to long term care pharmacy operations. Serving a well-established pharmacy network with multiple locations, this role offers the chance to contribute to quality patient care while advancing your professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Location:
- Eau Claire, Wisconsin (Western WI region)
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- On-call rotation included
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive PV1 and PV2 duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain high standards of workflow and accuracy
- Utilize a cleanroom environment for IV and TPN compounding, adhering to sterile technique protocols
- Engage in medication therapy management (MTM) to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams using the Frameworks system
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold an active Wisconsin pharmacist license; candidates holding a temporary ACT-10 license are considered with the expectation to secure a full WI license within 90 days
- Previous long term care (LTC) pharmacy experience highly preferred
- Retail pharmacists with strong medication therapy management skills are also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise pharmacy staff confidently
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive hourly compensation offered between $70-$72/hr
- $5,000 relocation assistance for qualified candidates
- $10,000 sign-on bonus, split as $5,000 at signing and $5,000 after six months of employment
