A direct hire opportunity is available for a pharmacist at a closed-door long-term care pharmacy with multiple locations, including one in Eau Claire, WI. Location: Eau Claire, WI
Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call rotation included

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV1 and PV2 pharmacy duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain a high standard of service
  • Prepare intravenous solutions and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) in an on-site cleanroom environment
  • Utilize the Frameworks system for pharmacy operations
  • Deliver medication therapy management (MTM) services, particularly if transitioning from retail to LTC pharmacy
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Wisconsin pharmacist license required; temporary ACT-10 license holders will be considered if WI license is obtained within 90 days
  • Previous long-term care pharmacy experience highly preferred
  • Retail pharmacists with strong MTM skills encouraged to apply
  • Ability to start promptly and adapt to a dynamic pharmacy environment
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively oversee pharmacy technicians
