Pharmacist - Edgar, WI

A healthcare facility with 250 beds is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their medication management team on a contract basis. This role supports critical pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate dispensing and safe medication practices within a hospital setting.

Location:

• Marshfield, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Rotates between second shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and third shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically begins on Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care plans
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems for medication management
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals
• Assist in medication counseling and monitoring for patient safety

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain the Act 10 temporary license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell IT systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks or longer
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred
