Inpatient Pharmacist | Edison, New Jersey

A healthcare facility in the Morristown, NJ area is seeking two experienced inpatient/IV pharmacy technicians for a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to work an overnight schedule with a unique 7-on, 7-off rotational pattern, providing both intensive hands-on experience and valuable time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense intravenous medications and other inpatient pharmacy tasks in a hospital setting
• Maintain accuracy and safety according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff using the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and certification requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient pharmacy settings, with strong IV admixture skills
• Active New Jersey pharmacy technician license in-hand
• PTCB certification required
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR software
• Ability to work overnight shifts with a 7-on/7-off schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks, starting early January
• Overnight shifts focusing on inpatient pharmaceutical support
• Location: Morristown, NJ (just west of Newark)
