Per Diem Pharmacist in Edmond, OK

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Edmond, OK, providing essential pharmaceutical services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role focuses on accurately dispensing medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners while ensuring patients and customers receive comprehensive information regarding their medications. Schedule:

• Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours) Total: 27 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Provide counseling and information about medication usage to patients and customers
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Ensure exceptional customer service within a retail and/or long-term care environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma Pharmacist License is required
• Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
