A pediatric hospital is seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care during overnight hours. This 13-week+ contract opportunity offers a supportive environment where your skills in pediatric pharmacy will directly impact the wellbeing of young patients.

Location: El Cajon, CA
Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Shift hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with attention to detail and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations during night shifts
• Collaborate with physicians to review treatments and provide pharmaceutical consultation
• Manage pharmacokinetic assessments tailored to pediatric patients
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis for automated medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Proven experience working with pediatric populations in a hospital setting
• Comfortable working night shifts with strong focus and adaptability
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
