This opportunity seeks an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to support medication therapy efforts in a community health system setting. You will collaborate closely with nurses and providers to ensure optimal medication management for oncology patients, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify oncology medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient therapy plans
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatment as needed
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on oncology medications and supportive care
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in California
• Solid oncology pharmacy experience required
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification preferred
• Comfortable working in a smaller community health system environment
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, day shift schedule
• Position based in El Centro, California
• Immediate start for a 13-week contract, with potential to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate
