A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a critical access hospital in Taos, NM. This role involves ensuring safe and effective medication use within a facility serving a maximum of 25 patients. The position offers day shifts with a consistent 3x12-hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM for a duration of 13 weeks or longer, providing stability and focus on delivering quality pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to maintain patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and optimal workflow.
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding pharmacotherapy recommendations.
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to tailor therapies to patient needs.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes in an inpatient setting.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Possession of a New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license.
• At least two years of inpatient pharmacy experience demonstrating clinical competence.
