A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy support in Elephant Butte, NM. This role involves ensuring safe and accurate medication management and supporting the pharmacy team through a variety of clinical and operational responsibilities.

• Elephant Butte, NM

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Full-time availability required

Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support their daily activities
• Handle incoming phone calls within the pharmacy, addressing questions and concerns professionally
• Conduct pharmacokinetic consultations and dosing adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility for a temporary license
• Prior inpatient pharmacy experience is essential
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
