Pharmacist | Elgin, Illinois

An established fulfillment/mail order pharmacy located near Chicago is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role delivers essential pharmacy services for top clients such as Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark, alongside a direct-to-patient offering.

Key Details:

• Location: On-site in Schaumburg, IL (Chicago area)
• Licenses: Must hold current pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3 to 6 months, with potential to transition to a permanent role
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; pharmacist works Saturday on a 6 to 7-week rotation

Responsibilities:

• On-site duties include processing and verifying prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain high-volume workflow, and ensuring accurate medication dispensing
• Remote responsibilities involve processing prescriptions, requiring a Nevada license for remote work

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada are mandatory
• Experience working in fulfillment or mail order pharmacy environments
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
