Pharmacist - Elgin, Illinois

A fulfillment and mail order pharmacy located in Schaumburg, IL (Chicago area) is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist to support both onsite and remote operations. This contract opportunity is ideal for pharmacists licensed in both Illinois and Nevada who are ready to start immediately and interested in a 3-6 month assignment with potential for contract to hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• On site, supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain high-volume prescription processing
• Verify and check prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage prescription processing efficiently both onsite and remotely
• Participate in a Saturday shift rotation approximately every 6-7 weeks to support weekend pharmacy coverage

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist licenses in Illinois and Nevada (NV license required for remote work)
• Experience working in fulfillment or mail order pharmacy environments preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills for overseeing pharmacy techs and collaborating with the team

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM site hours
• Saturday shifts shared on a rotation
