Per Diem Pharmacist - Elgin, Illinois

An opportunity is available for a knowledgeable Pharmacist to support per diem pharmacy operations with a focus on specialty or oncology pharmacy. This role offers flexible PRN work with specific dates scheduled and the chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

• 2/16, 2/17, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Location:

• Position is based in Niles, IL at a site located at 8915 W Golf Rd

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and safety standards
• Utilize Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR to manage patient data and documentation
• Provide counseling and support to patients regarding their medication therapies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in specialty or oncology pharmacy settings

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist License
• Prior experience in specialty or oncology pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR
• Strong background in retail pharmacy is welcome for those with solid skills and knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the assigned shifts
