A specialty pharmacy in Milaca, MN, is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a per diem assignment with a focus on both retail and long-term care pharmacy services. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in diverse pharmacy settings and is committed to excellent patient care.

Schedule:

• August 26, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• August 27, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• August 28, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• September 1, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive long-term care pharmacist duties, including medication regimen review and consultation for long-term care patients.
• Manage retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications and counseling patients.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
• Administer immunizations as needed in accordance with certification.

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree or MTM certification.
• Immunization certification required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of retail and long-term care pharmacy practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
