A well-established 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a rewarding 13-week contract assignment with the possibility to extend. This role offers the chance to contribute to inpatient pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital environment.
Location:
- Mishawaka, IN (Northern Indiana region)
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- 2nd shift hours: 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Potential option for a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
Responsibilities:
- Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication management
- Conduct pharmacokinetic evaluations and provide expert recommendations
- Support overall inpatient pharmacy operations, enhancing patient care and safety
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Indiana
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy practices and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and make informed clinical decisions
