A retail pharmacy opening in Elkhart, KS is urgently seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities in a recently acquired retail pharmacy setting within a healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the retail pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge
• Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate workflow to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate records and inventory management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage medication therapies and patient counseling

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred but all experience levels considered
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage regulatory compliance with attention to detail

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
