Pharmacist - Elmira, New York

A retail pharmacy position is available in Elmira, NY, seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join on a permanent basis. The role offers a structured schedule designed to support work-life balance with consistent hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceuticals to meet customer needs while optimizing profitability.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including weighing, measuring, and mixing compounds; provide advice to patients regarding self-medication and over-the-counter treatments.
• Administer patient immunizations routinely to support community health.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, oversee scheduling, performance recognition, discipline, and work assignments to ensure efficient team operations and achievement of company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Current New York Immunization Certification preferred.
• Ability to begin employment immediately.
