A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in Elmira, NY for an experienced pharmacist ready to contribute to patient care and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This permanent position offers a well-structured schedule focusing on weekdays with varied weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to maintain inventory control by monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while optimizing profitability.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and compound medications, ensuring patients receive the correct dosages and formulations. Provide guidance to self-medicating customers and dispense over-the-counter medications responsibly.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly, supporting public health initiatives and patient wellness.
• Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the pharmacy manager, including scheduling staff, recognizing performance, managing discipline, and assigning tasks to align team efforts with company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Current New York Immunization Certification preferred.
• Ability to start immediately and adapt to scheduled hours.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
