Pharmacist - Endicott, NY

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support retail pharmacy operations in Binghamton, NY, with a leading grocery retailer. This role is open for contract-to-hire placement, providing a strong pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate who can start immediately.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profits.
• Preparing, weighing, measuring, and mixing medications; dispensing both prescription and non-prescription drugs; and advising patients on appropriate medication use.
• Administering patient immunizations regularly to help promote community health.
• Providing leadership support by scheduling pharmacy associates, recognizing performance, addressing disciplinary actions, and assigning work in the pharmacy manager's absence, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company objectives.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current New York State Pharmacist License
• New York Immunization Certification is highly preferred
• Ability to begin work immediately
