A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to support their team in Binghamton, NY, with opportunities for both temporary and permanent positions starting immediately. This role offers a structured schedule designed to provide consistency and work-life balance:

  • Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and optimize profits.
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and compound medications, dispensing prescriptions and non-prescription medications while advising patients on self-medication.
  • Administer patient immunizations regularly to support community health.
  • In the absence of the pharmacy manager, oversee scheduling and performance management of pharmacy associates to ensure smooth operations and meet company objectives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree required
  • Active New York State Pharmacist license
  • Current New York Immunization license strongly preferred
  • Ability to start immediately and adapt quickly to support staffing needs
