A retail pharmacy seeks a licensed pharmacist to support short-term staffing needs with an option for permanent placement. This opportunity is based in Binghamton, NY, offering a structured schedule and the chance to engage in a range of pharmacy services.

Location:

• Binghamton, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory, including tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix medications and medical compounds, ensuring correct dispensing of prescription and non-prescription products.
• Provide guidance to patients on self-medication and maintain communication with healthcare and insurance professionals.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly.
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, handle staff scheduling, performance management, and work assignments to optimize team effectiveness and meet company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Current New York Immunization Certification (preferred).
• Immediate availability to start.
