An excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide critical support during night shifts at a 300-bed hospital in Southeast Alabama. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate medication dispensing, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders with precision and attention to detail
• Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Consult and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards during all pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable and capable of working night shift hours

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, providing an excellent work-life balance
