Pharmacist in Ephrata, PA

Location:

• Ephrata, PA

Schedule:

• Day shift with flexible options: choose either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians
• Provide expert consultation to physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient care
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
