Pharmacist - Ephrata, PA

This position offers the opportunity to serve as a pharmacist in a 160-bed community hospital, providing critical support to healthcare teams and patients. The role demands a confident professional capable of handling diverse pharmacy responsibilities within a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff for optimized patient care.
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring.
• Support medication preparation including chemotherapy exposure as applicable.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Proficient with EPIC electronic health record system and Pyxis automation.
• Familiarity or experience handling chemotherapy medications is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional communication.

Schedule and Location:

• 40 hours per week, primarily scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Rotation to include working every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Position based in Lebanon, PA.
• Immediate start available.
• Contract length: 13 weeks or longer.
