Pharmacist | Ephrata, Pennsylvania

Step into a vital role at a 160-bed community hospital located in Lebanon, PA, as a Travel Pharmacist. This opportunity offers you the chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a fast-paced and rewarding hospital environment, supporting patient care with your critical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians for smooth operations.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy.
• Manage pharmacokinetics and contribute to patient-specific dosing.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively in daily workflows.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week.
• Shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Work every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
• Exposure to chemotherapy medication preparation and handling is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
