Pharmacist in Ephrata, PA

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pennsylvania pharmacist with hospital experience seeking a travel assignment in Lebanon, PA. The position supports a 160-bed community hospital, providing essential pharmacy services within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Location: Lebanon, PA
Position Type: Contract (13 weeks+)
Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication management
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments tailored to patient needs
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record and Pyxis automated dispensing system effectively

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Prior pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis systems
• Exposure to chemotherapy protocols is highly desirable
