Per Diem Pharmacist in Etna, CA

A pharmacy in Yreka, CA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a per diem position. This role requires managing a high-volume retail pharmacy with a workload of 400–500 prescriptions per day. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have experience with the PioneerRx software system, recently adopted by the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling
• Manage inventory and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed
• Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription processing and record keeping

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting
• Comfortable handling a high-volume pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software preferred
