Pharmacist - Evanston, IL

A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy located near Chicago is seeking a licensed pharmacist with both Illinois and Nevada credentials for an engaging contract role. This position requires on-site presence in a dynamic, fast-paced pharmacy environment serving major clients such as Express Scripts, Optum, CVS Caremark, and their own direct-to-patient offerings.

The pharmacy operates Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the pharmacist participating in a Saturday rotation every 6-7 weeks. The contract duration is 3 to 6 months, with a potential to transition to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and volume
• Support remote processing duties to ensure timely fulfillment
• Uphold compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada are required
• Experience in fulfillment/mail order pharmacy settings preferred
