Pharmacist | Evanston, Illinois

A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy specializing in Rx services for top providers including Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist for an on-site position. This role is well suited for a candidate holding both Illinois and Nevada pharmacist licenses, with the ability to work on-site in Schaumburg, IL, and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and verify prescriptions both on-site and remotely.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and maintain high-volume prescription processing.
• Support a busy operation serving direct-to-patient orders and major pharmacy benefit managers.
• Participate in a Saturday rotation approximately every 6-7 weeks during the site’s Mon-Sat 7 AM to 7 PM operating hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois (IL) and Nevada (NV) are required for this role.
• Experience in mail order or fulfillment pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.

Location:

• On-site role based in Schaumburg, IL with some remote work responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, 7 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday shifts rotate every 6-7 weeks.

This contract opportunity starts ASAP and is anticipated to last 3-6 months with potential to convert to a permanent position.
