A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available for a healthcare provider in the Chicago, IL area. This role involves dispensing medications prescribed by physicians and health practitioners while ensuring accurate and safe distribution. The pharmacist will also provide detailed information to customers regarding their medications and proper usage, emphasizing a high standard of customer service.

• Friday, May 22, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday, June 5, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other licensed healthcare providers
• Counsel patients on the proper use and storage of their medications
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medications to answer patient questions confidently
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a supportive and informative experience for patients

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacist License required
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage medication distribution safely
