Pharmacist - Evanston, IL

A pharmacy role is available on a 7-on, 7-off schedule with night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This contract position begins as soon as possible and lasts for 13 weeks or more. The assignment is situated in Evanston, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and provide guidance as needed
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize drug dosing and patient outcomes
• Utilize IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with current credentials to practice
• Experience with hospital or clinical pharmacy operations
• Familiarity using EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
