An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a dynamic hospital setting in Seattle, WA. This contract role spans 16 weeks or more, with potential for Temp-to-Hire based on performance and mutual fit. The position offers variable day and afternoon shifts with 8-hour work periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately using the Epic system
• Conduct final product verification to ensure patient safety
• Provide clinical support by answering drug information queries
• Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Participate actively in Code Blue and emergency response situations
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for inventory and medication management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid pharmacist licensure and credentials as required by Washington State
• Experience working within inpatient pharmacy distribution functions
• Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to handle emergency scenarios efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technician activities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
