This role supports essential inpatient pharmacy distribution functions in a dynamic hospital setting. The pharmacist will play a critical part in ensuring medication safety and accuracy while collaborating with clinical staff.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable days and afternoons
  • 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately using Epic systems
  • Perform final product verification checks for medications
  • Provide clinical support by answering drug information and clinical questions
  • Oversee pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow and safety
  • Participate in Code Blue/emergency response teams as needed
  • Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for pharmacy operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy
  • Proficient in Epic electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide drug information support
  • Ability to manage and supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
  • Comfortable working variable shifts covering days and afternoons
  • Emergency response experience or training preferred

  • Everett, WA (with the opportunity in the Seattle area)

This contract opportunity begins immediately and is expected to last 16 weeks or longer, with potential for Temp-to-Hire based on performance.
