This opportunity offers a rewarding role supporting inpatient pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication distribution, collaborating with clinical teams, and overseeing pharmacy technician activities to maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform order verification using Epic to ensure accurate medication dispensing
  • Conduct final product verification checks for safety and compliance
  • Provide answers to clinical questions and deliver drug information
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee their workflow
  • Participate in Code Blue/emergency response activities as needed
  • Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State pharmacist license
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Full-time immediate availability for variable day and afternoon 8-hour shifts
  • Proficient with Epic and Pyxis systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Location:

  • Everett, WA (near Seattle area)

Schedule:

  • Variable day and afternoon shifts
  • 8-hour shifts

This contract role is approximately 16 weeks in duration, with potential to transition to a permanent position. Immediate start available for qualified candidates.
