Support inpatient pharmacy operations as a Pharmacist in a dynamic hospital setting located near Seattle, WA. This contract opportunity is set to begin ASAP and extends for 16 weeks with potential to transition to a permanent role.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Variable days and afternoons
  • 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform order verification utilizing Epic system to ensure accuracy and patient safety
  • Conduct final product verification checks before medication distribution
  • Provide expert clinical advice and respond to drug information inquiries
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow and compliance
  • Participate in Code Blue and emergency response efforts
  • Utilize pharmacy technology systems such as EPIC and Pyxis

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Washington state pharmacist license required
  • Immediate full-time availability preferred
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential
  • Strong proficiency with EPIC and automation systems
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment

This position offers a vital role in supporting inpatient care through accurate medication distribution and pharmacy team leadership. The contract length is 16 weeks with the possibility of converting to a full-time permanent position based on performance and business needs.
