A pharmacist opportunity is available supporting inpatient pharmacy distribution functions in a hospital setting near Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an ASAP start for approximately 16 weeks with the potential for conversion to a permanent role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders using the Epic system
- Performing final product verification checks to ensure accuracy
- Providing clinical consults and answering drug information inquiries
- Supervising pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow efficiency
- Participating in Code Blue and emergency response situations
- Utilizing hospital technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis systems
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Washington State pharmacist license
- Immediate full-time availability
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience required
- Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis preferred
Schedule:
- 7 consecutive night shifts (approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM) followed by 7 days off
