Pharmacist | Everett, Washington

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to work in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting, supporting critical distribution functions. This contract position offers a schedule of 7 nights on and 7 nights off, working approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a start date as soon as possible. The initial contract duration is 16 weeks or longer, with potential to transition to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic electronic health record system
• Perform final product checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide clinical drug information and answer pharmacist queries
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow efficiency
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency responses as a pharmacy expert
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to manage medication distribution

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Washington State pharmacist license required
• Immediate full-time availability to start
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with Epic EHR and Pyxis medication management systems preferred
