A pharmacy role is available for a licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital settings. The position supports critical inpatient pharmacy distribution operations and requires immediate full-time availability.
Key Responsibilities: • Verify medication orders using Epic system. • Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy. • Provide expert responses to clinical inquiries and drug information requests. • Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician activities. • Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations. • Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis.
Qualifications: • Current, active Washington State pharmacist license. • Background in hospital pharmacy practice. • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems. • Ability to work independently and manage clinical questions efficiently. • Strong leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technician functions. • Immediate availability for full-time work on the assigned schedule.
Schedule: • Night shift rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off. • Typical hours approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
This contract assignment is expected to last 16 weeks or more, with potential to convert to permanent employment based on performance. The start date is ASAP.
