Pharmacist - Everett, WA

A contracting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy located in Bellevue, WA, with potential floating to Seattle as needed. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications within an infusion pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Verification of medication orders utilizing Epic pharmacy system
• Final product verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Responding to clinical questions and providing drug information
• Supervising and overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians
• Maintaining compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Washington State Pharmacist license
• Experience or familiarity with infusion and oncology pharmacy practices preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines for sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shift
• Immediate availability preferred
• Contract assignment duration: 16 weeks or longer
