Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts with start times at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Variable days including weekends; scheduling ensures no late-night to early-morning shift transitions
• Holiday shifts required as needed, typically shorter at 4-5 hours

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications according to hospital pharmacy protocols
• Manage standard hospital pharmacy orders and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care through pharmaceutical expertise
• Maintain thorough documentation and assist with medication inventory control

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a hospital pharmacist
• Familiarity with standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification processes
• Experience with Cerner pharmacy systems preferred
• Must hold a valid Alaska Pharmacist license or obtain a temporary AK license prior to starting; those without an active AK license must apply within 24 hours of job offer acceptance
