Pharmacist in Fairbanks, AK

A hospital in Fairbanks, AK is seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill a contract position starting mid-September. This role requires a minimum of one year of hospital pharmacy experience, with a strong understanding of standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification.

Schedule and Hours:

• 8-hour shifts with variable start times at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Shifts scheduled on variable days of the week, including weekends
• An 11:00 AM shift is typically not followed by a 7:00 AM shift
• Holiday shifts as needed, generally shorter (4-5 hours)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1+ year as a pharmacist in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with standard hospital pharmacy procedures and product verification
• Experience with Cerner is preferred
• Must possess an active Alaska pharmacist license or temporary license; if not currently licensed in Alaska, candidates must apply within 24 hours of job acceptance
