Per Diem Pharmacist in Fairfax, VA

A nursing home serving approximately 50 residents is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide per diem coverage with a focus on delivering excellent pharmaceutical care. This role supports vacation coverage and operates Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Location: Fairfax, VA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Specific dates needed: 6th, 7th, 8.5th, 10th, and 11th

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clinical staff to maintain high standards of medication management
• Support the use and maintenance of the Point Click Care computer system

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience in a pharmacy setting
• Clear and active Virginia pharmacist license
• Ability to perform prescription verification with attention to detail and professionalism
