Per Diem Pharmacist - Fairfield, OH

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide coverage in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 26th. This role requires full-day coverage during the first shift, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, utilizing Pioneer software to support daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe, efficient delivery to all customers under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel and advise patients regarding their medications and proper regimen adherence.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, following organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled drug inventories and records.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage and billing questions.

Qualifications:

• Current, active pharmacist license in the state of Ohio is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient counseling.
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred.
