A pharmacy professional opportunity is available at a closed-door mail order pharmacy serving patients with a dedication to exceptional pharmaceutical care and regulatory compliance. This role offers a temp-to-hire option with a minimum 13-week assignment and potential for direct hire.

Location: Fishers, Indiana
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Possible Saturdays based on operational needs

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing medications in alignment with prescription orders
• Providing thorough medication counseling, including guidance on proper usage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Reviewing and interpreting physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of therapy
• Monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, and therapeutic duplications
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and adherence
• Maintaining precise patient records encompassing medication histories, allergies, and interventions
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Proper storage and handling of medications, monitoring for expired or damaged products
• Participating in pharmacy quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting with inventory management, including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies
• Delivering excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
• Keeping current with developments in pharmacy practice through ongoing professional development

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• PharmD degree required
• 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy License
• California Pharmacy License preferred; candidates willing to reciprocate for CA license are considered, with assistance offered for licensure costs
• Ability to travel up to 5%
