Pharmacist | Fishers, Indiana

This pharmacy role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care within a closed-door mail order environment. The position is part-time, covering 1st or 2nd shifts from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays based on business needs. This assignment is temp-to-hire with an initial duration of approximately 13 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications per prescription orders
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accurate, appropriate therapy
• Monitor drug regimens for contraindications, interactions, and duplications
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain precise patient records, including medication history and interventions
• Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, including monitoring expiration
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Stay informed about developments in pharmacy practice through ongoing professional development
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required
• Indiana Pharmacy License mandatory
• California Pharmacy License preferred, or willingness to reciprocate (support provided)
• 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience required
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel up to 5%
