A part-time Staff Pharmacist position is available in Fishers, IN, offering the opportunity to work within a closed-door mail order environment. This temp-to-hire role supports 1st or 2nd shifts between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday hours as needed. The assignment spans approximately 13 weeks with the possibility of direct hire.

Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications per prescription orders and providing thorough medication counseling to patients regarding proper use, side effects, and interactions. You will review physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness, monitor drug therapy regimens, and collaborate closely with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes. Maintaining precise patient records and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws also fall within the scope of this role. Additional duties involve inventory management, participation in quality assurance programs, and delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should hold a PharmD degree and possess 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience. An Indiana Pharmacy License is required, and while a California license is preferred, willingness to pursue reciprocity—which the client will assist with—is acceptable. The position may require up to 5% travel.
